Frances Segismundo is a mixed media artist specializing in printmaking and tattoos. Originally from the Philippines, Segismundo was born in Los Angeles and raised in Hong Kong. With a degree in illustration from the University of the Arts London, UK, she now lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. Her work has been featured in group shows in Hong Kong, London and New York. Her most recent body of work, Dysutopia, featured here, explores moments within the urban environment as a symbol to represent current social issues, namely the rise of the refugee crises and the ongoing dispute over the enforced travel ban.
